The Seagate Colony tract of single family attached homes lies within the city of Aliso Viejo and contains 416 homes. The community is not gated, but has a pool, spa and tennis court. The community is located at the intersection of Aliso Creek Road and El Toro Road. A few minutes to the west, down Laguna Canyon, is the Pacific Ocean and the famous city of Laguna Beach.

The 73 freeway is less than a minute away, and the 5 freeway is a short drive East on El Toro. While located in a rural setting, the Audubon communities are positioned within a short distance of the ocean and its resort towns; freeway arteries leading to major employment areas, and the shops, restaurants and amenities of Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach and Aliso Viejo.

The 73 freeway links up with the 405 freeway corridor and provides quick access to the financial centers of Fashion Island Newport Beach, the John Wayne airport area and South Coast Plaza. The 5 freeway links up with the Tustin employment centers and shopping centers.

Seagate Colony has six different models of homes:

The Pheasant (Model A) is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath single level home (carriage unit) with a 1 car garage. A deck is located at the front door with a utility cabinet for a washer and dryer. This model is approximately 636 square feet.

The Tanager (Model B) is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, two level home with a 1 car garage. A fireplace is located in the living room and a patio has been placed off the dining room. All of the bedrooms are located on the second level. This model is approximately 1,125 square feet.

The Lark (Model C) is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, single level home with a 1 car garage. A fireplace is located in the living room and a deck is positioned outside the front door. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet off the master bath suite. This model is approximately 942 square feet.

The Hummingbird (Model D) is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, single level home with a 1 car garage. A fireplace is located in the living room and a deck (with a service closet for a washer & dryer) is positioned outside the front door. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. This model is approximately 976 square feet.

The Whippoorwill (Model E) is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, single level home with a 1 car garage. A fireplace is located in the living room and a patio is positioned outside the living and dining rooms. There are two master bedroom suites with walk-in closets. This model is approximately 1,011 square feet

The Sandpiper (Model F) is a 2 bedroom (or 1 and a den), 2 bath single level home with a 1 car garage. A deck is located outside of the entry with a service closet for a washer and dryer. This model is approximately 852 square feet
