The Big Gas Rip-off
Is it not enough that we are paying close too four dollars and above for a gallon of gas. Have you noticed lately that you whined up at the gas station a little more often. Is it not a shame that not only are we paying for more gas but we are getting less miles to the gallon. Is this a figment of my imagination or is there something more at play.
Well if you haven't noticed, they have done it to us again. The next time your at the gas pump, check to see if 10% of the gas your paying for is ethanol. That's right that whole tank of gas is not all gas. A portion of it is corn whisky which would not be a problem if it didn't make the car run funny and get less miles to the gallon.
You see the ethanol that the rest of the world uses is made from sugar cane, there for it is more powerful and gives you more bang for the buck, which in turns leads to more miles per gallon. The corn variation that we use, well it is not as powerful so it cuts power and miles, it also leaves water in your tank so you lose miles, your car runs funny and if your not careful you will end up with a rusted gas tank down the road.
But that is not what gets me, you see I don't like the fact of the matter, but I know they are symptoms of the problem. What gets me is that they are charging me and taxing me the same amount for the fake gas as they are the real stuff. That's right for every ten gallons of gas I buy, nine gallons are real, and one gallon is ethanol or fake. But the gas price is the same, and the tax is still the same. So not only is the gas and oil companies ripping us off so is our government. Shame!
So if you feel like you have been duped, well it's probably because you have. I guess the question is at what point will you demand that your government earn your money and just stop taking it. I guess Barnum was right when he said "a sucker is born every minute". Change your life stop being a sucker.

This is not only distubing but it is true as well. We as a society need to stand up and say that we are sick of this. FICA takes a huge chunk of your paycheck and you are so happy that the govenment is giving you your own money back. I can't believe how many people I've heard ellated that they are getting a stimules package. It's yous any way. If they hadn't taken in the first place they wouldn't be giving it back to you.
