The Secret of losing Weight-Weight Loss Advice

Are you tired of hearing about the MILLIONS of different diets there are out there? Do you just want some advice that will work both effectively and permently in your attempts to loose some weight? Is the answer YES, to these two questions? Well then this site is just for you!!
This site offers the reader some insider tips on the secret to losing weight. It provides a variety of does and don't while trying to get in control of your weight and it also provides some tried and tested Weight Loss products that are actually proven to be effective in helping you to loose weight! However use these weight loss product to jump start your weight lose only. they are not for long term use and no crash dieting while using them either, healthy eating is key.


It's NOT a 'Diet' it's a Healthy Lifestyle

Diet, a common word used by people who are trying to loose weight, who believe that a diet means a reduction in the amount of food that a person eats. However the word 'Diet' actually means 'any food or drink that is consumed by a human or animal'.
In order for anyone to loose weight the key is to remember that its not a diet that they are about to carry out but instead its a lifestyle change. Diet, as people call them dont last for long, they may work in the short term but in the long term there ineffective because when you stop following some diet gurus 'Diet' and start eating normal again the weight that you may have lost and maybe more, just piles back on.
In order to change your lifestyle you don't have to give up all the foods you love or even start going to the gym everyday of the week. It's about watching your calories and tweeking your over all Diet. What you need to do is identify your bad habits with both food and activity (e.g. snacking on sugary foods between meals and taking the car to the shop thats only round the corner etc.) and changing them to better ones and then maintaining them throughout your life.Only then will you see some changes in your body and health!

Some Useful tips:

1. In the morning on waking up it is a good idea to get your metabilism of to a flying start. Why not go for a 30 minute walk or so, haven't the time? then try running up and down the stairs a few times, anything in order to get your heart rate up. This in turn will help your body burn more calories throughout the day!

2. Ensure you have breakfast. This also helps kick start your metabolism and helps keep your sugar level stable till lunch time. Skip the sugar laiden cereal and try opt for the healthier option such as wheetabix which is full of fiber. Skimmed milk is also a good option to have with it as it has all the goodness of full fat but less than half the calories. If you must have somthing with it to sweeten it up try some fruit or if your like me and cant even imagine that combination together in a bowl, try a sweener instead such as 'canerel', which has less than half the calories or normal sugar!

3. Dinner time is best had earlier in the day as you are giving yourself a chance to burn some of the calories off during the day. It will also stop you eating more throughout the day because you will be less hungry. Dont feel you have to avoid all carbohydrates or live on salad, once you eat normal amounts of food and choose the healthiest way to cook them you dont have to worry about them been bad for your weight loss efforts.

4. Do not let yourself get hungry. If this happens you are less likely to have control of your will power and therefore no motivation when meal time comes round.

5. Try to snack only when begining to feel hungry before a meal. Fruit would be your best option such as an apple. Apples are full of fibre and water leaving you wanting less food. Apples are also great because it takes more calories for your body to burn an apple than the apple actually contains! Studies from Washington and Brasil state that eat around 3 apples a day loose weight.

6. If you fancy something sweet and dont want to give into the temptation of chocolate try a mirange or some sugar free jelly as they have minimal if any calories in them.

7. When eating food eat slowly as it takes your brain 20 minutes to register that your full.

8. Dont drink your calories! Choose to drink water or diluted juices instead of fizzy drinks as these contain quite a number of calories. Although the fat free ones might not contain calories or sugar they do make you feel bloated and just arent as healthy as water!

9. Always stop when you are full dont try to clean the plate.

10. Dont be afraid to eat food if you get in late at night and had no dinner all day, after all a calorie is a calorie no matter what time of the day it is eaten. But keep in mind you will be going to bed and a light snack or meal is probably best as you wont be working it of till tomorrow.

11. Once you get enough exercise you shouldn't have a problem with your weight.

12. Toning while stuck in traffic- Each time you press on your break when sitting in the car squeeze your bottom and hold it for 10 seconds.

13. Try walking to work if its not to far. Take the stairs instead of the lift. Walk the dog every evening. Little changes like this can help you become more active, which helps burn more calories, therefore increase weight loss and physical well being.

14. When talking on the phone get up and walk around. A study done by the mayo clinic states that people who are overweight sit 2 and a half hour more than people who have a normal weight for their height.
