The sfogs mystery

For the past week I've been casually flicking to "Most Haunted live" on LivingTV. I normally watch Most Haunted, just because I like the paranormal and anything that relates to ghosts.

Not that I believe Yvette is going the right way about it, but hey, it's okay... at least she's trying to provoke something, to assertain whether or not they do actually exist.

I believe they do. I've had a few encounters [but haven't we all] Anyway, let me get to the point, watching Most Haunted, made me think about a website we used to go on in our mundane ICT lessons at school.

sfogs.com

Now, I don't know if any of you know this but sfogs was the worlds largest website dedicated to the paranormal and it disappeared.

Not even the site owners know what happened. It's been documented as the sfogs mystery... which kind of makes you wonder if the "ghosts" had something to do with it.

Since it's disappearance in 2003 sfogs was forgotten about, until early 2009 when the site was relaunched as sfogszero.com.

Unfortunately all of the evidence and every single video, photo and recording was lost and they have had to start again by rebuilding the entire collection.

I just find it strange how the worlds biggest ghost site just magically disappeared. And i don't use the term magically lightly. If the site had been deleted there would have been records as to who did it and when. But nothing exists, no records, no nothing. The site vanished from the net. Pooooof. Just like that.

Now, there is a clip on the new site. It is known globally as "the guy in the music shop video" and was one of the earliest videos to ever be made public, a video claiming to show paranormal activity taking place.

And you have to admit, it's pretty darn weird. For legal reason I can't post it on here

[as it's not mine to post] but give it a go.

But then you get crap like this photo >>>

which is so clearly fake. For a start, the shadow on the wall
is the shadow of a normal person in a dress, not to mention
the badly done bit of "spooky editing" and a clever bit of
photoshop and, well, there you have it- a "ghost by a bed".

But then you have to consider, "why on earth would somebody
have taken a photo of someone else sleeping... unless for the
obvious reason of planning to make a fake ghost image?"

But then if you look again you can see that the bed is pushed
right up against the wall... which makes me wonder "how"
they did it, if it was fake. Not to mention that there only
seems to be half of a ghost... and the fact that the lower
half of the wallpaper runs from both sides of the room,
completely uninterruptedĀ  by the so called "Figure?"

Creepy or crap? You can't deny that it does make you think.

All of this makes me wonder about ghosts and the paranormal
and has spurred me on to go and see the new horror movie,
quite cleverly and originally titled "Paranormal Activity"...

Which is released in only a few days.

I am a fan of Horror movies and seeing as it's halloween I may
as well comply with the spooky atmosphere and go see this
film. I'll let you know what I think of it.

But in the mean time, give the new sfogs a go and tell me what
you think. It's got some unusual clips on there and I guess if
you can read mandarin chinese then that's an added bonus.

but for the rest of us we'll just have to rack our brains over
what the hell "Kejadian Semasa Memandu Teksi" means.
