Hubpages is a fast pace website. If you cant go the speed of the train then you'll be left in the dust. But there are ways that I have found to get the most traffic to you site. So I made a webstie, Star Wars vs Star Trek, for the first few days nobody went to my website. I may have gotten maybe 5 to 12 hits a day. In the meantime i started making other sites such as, Top 10 iPhone Apps, or The Battle of the iPods, and still nobody way coming to my website. I could not understand how to get my site out there.

The KEY: People dont know about your site. If you just made your site then nobody knows about it quite yet. Your traffic is there! Think about it more like a freeway and all your traffic is on the road halted still. Your goal is to get the traffic moving and on the off ramp to your site. So whats the solution? GET YOUR SITE OUT TO THE PUBLIC! Social Bookmarking or bookMARKETING, is a fantastic way for the world of random strangers to click straight onto your site. There are hundreds of Social sites out there but I have found the best sights to maximize your traffic.

The Best - Ping - O - Matic

Ping-O-Matic is a site that sends your URL address to a wide diversity of websites. No matter what your site is about the Ping-O-Matic will send it to every site. And if you dont want your site on a certain site then you can just un-checkmark the site. Some of the sites that are pinged: Weblogs.com, Blo.gs, technorati, Feed Burner, NewsGator and many more


The Second Best (Gets the Dress) - Reddit

Reddit is one of my favorite Social BookMarketing sites. All you have to do is go to Submit a Link, type in the link, the title and thats it! After I put my site, Healthiest Energy Drink Ever, into Reddit i got 500 views in 3 hours. The only problem is they dont want you to over crowd their site so you have to wait 8 minutes to put another site URL on.


The Third (Gets the Treasure Chest) - Digg

Digg is also a really great song to get traffic. Its very easy, just summit your link and some tags to go with it. Digg even picks a picture from your site and places it as an icon. It works on a rank system. Once your site is entered into the system it is given a rank 1. Every time a person reads it and pushs the digg button it goes up by one. Some sites have a rank of 3490


Sixth I Guess - Delicious

This site is very easy to use, all you need to do is add the link and make tags for the site. It does get a fair number of people to your site

The Fifth Gets a Lot of Work - Ezine Articles

Ezine Articles is just like a Squidoo only a little more work. You write down your article and it has to be reviewed by the Ezine workers. This process may take a week to get your article reviewed but when its done you will get so much traffic from just one article. Doing all your sites with an Article is very smart

The Forth Gets...Not Bronze - Squidoo

Squidoo is a little more work then the past three sites but it does get a lot of traffic. For Squidoo you have to create a thing called a "lense". Lenses are pages, kind of like flyers or signposts or overview articles, that gather everything you know on your site. Its all free. Squidoo gave me 700 hits in one day for my site, The Zelda Games
