There is over a 50% chance that you are another woman. If not, that's ok, too. You understand the struggle of women. After, all your mother is a woman. Here's why...
When I was younger my mother was a LPN. But choose to resign from her career and paying job to stay home and be a full-time mom and take care of me. I loved it. My mother loved her family and she loved being a mother. She loved nurturing the people she loved. My mother loved to shop, cook, garden, write, poetry, short stories and spend quality time with her family. I guess it's true the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree. Does it? I love all those things, too.
My mother always wanted to write a book about her life and share her life's experiences. She was the youngest of three sisters who was born in Portsmith, Virginia to middle class parents in the 1920's. She experienced the depression and the lost of both parents at an early age. My mother's parents died within 2 years of each other. She not only lost both of her parents, their love and the home her father built she was seperated from her two older sisters after her mother's death. From the stories she told me she seen and experienced a LOT.
Anyway, if she was alive today I would buy her a laptop and the dragon naturally speaking software (very reasonable on Amazon). Then I would introduce her to Squidoo and do a collaboration Squidoo lens project with her. Squidoo is about sharing your ideas, photos, memories, interests, experience and passions.
