Strategic thinking has built me in to a stonger character today. Thinking strategically is the process of breaking down all your thoughts that run through your brain and solving your problems strategically.

This process takes extreme discipline and is not for the day dreamers. Or it could really help the day dreamers. However, if you utilise this process correctly and according to theory you will find you’ll achieve your goals much faster than you know it.

There is much I can teach you about strategic thinking however today I am only going to teach you the basics because I don’t want to overload your brain. There is plenty of time for the more efficient advanced stuff later.

For now...

The first process is for you to think of your values.

What do you value in life?

For people who have never thought of their values before it may be a big stepping stone.

But here is a tip.

Think of people who you aspire to.

What values do they have?

For me, I aspire a friend of mine called Matty Trundle. I like him because he has good values.

Some of the values he shows are.

1. Integrity

This is a moral that should stand above all others if you wan to succeed on or offline. If someone has high integrity that means you can count on them, no matter what.

This has a long term effect. Because if you market yourself as the person to go to if they want to get something to get done for sure and you actually make sure you do it, then will have no problems when you ask for favours in return because by the law of give and take; they will feel compelled to give back, or do favours for you.

2. Honesty

Honesty is so important because it is the basis for your entire relationship. Never gossip but always speak... fact.

There are few people who can say that. And the ones who can portray this image will succeed in the long term far beyond another other.

3. Listening

I have realised if you have the ability to listen to people then you will naturally develop the ability to recognise what it is that people want and if you are smart enough and have the right network of people then you will be able to provide it to them which will in turn cause them to value your relationship with them.

Creating a valuable relationship with a large group of people is the most important thing you will ever do for yourself in this life.

You must remember the stronger you plant the seed in that relationship then the more leverage and sway you will also have in the relationship.

The reason why I am talking to you about values is because the stronger your values the stronger your character.

The stronger your character, the stronger your relationships will be with the people you interact with in your life.

Make it a personal decision to improve your character and stick to it so that you can allow yourself the opportunity to build stronger relationships with your peers.

What do you really want in life?

After careful though I hope you have realised its not;

Money

Cars

House

But :

Meaningful, strong, long-lasting relationships.

I know that’s all that’s important to me and I will always live up to my values.
