Got 'Stuff'? If so, why?

...and this "Stuff" just keeps growing!

Annie Leonard, as a child, while going from place to place, kept noticing lots of 'stuff' around her. This was in the days when kids didn't have DVDs to hold their attention in the back seats of cars while parents drove from place to place.

And back when kids walked to school and everywhere else they wanted to go.

She had questions. No answers. And she vowed to satisfy her curiousity and find out about all the things she was so curious about, as soon as she grew up.

That's exactly what she did!

"I didn't understand it back then, 20 years ago, but I vowed to figure it out. And I did. It's the Story of Stuff.", she says.

This is an amazing, fast paced and fact filled video every person should see and definitely should be shown in every school across our land also.

Most of us know it's time for some real changes in our world, and not just in the environment, but in our personal lives too!

Looking forward to comments and even ideas and hoping everyone who sees this will pass it on to others,

DJ

Just one of many positive reviews on "The Story of Stuff"

Annie Leonard's "The History of Stuff" is a mega hit on three levels. First having studied economics right through graduate school, I can tell you that this 20 minute film will make you laugh AND teach you everything you need to know about the global economy.

I should have saved my tuition checks.

Second, Annie's use of a short, simple film that breaks a complicated story down to something that we can all understand sets a new bar for activism, bypassing even Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth." Annie did this without a multi-million dollar movie budget and award winning directors.

Lastly, Annie's distribution model, giving it away over the web, is going to make this the viral activist hit of the year.
