Perhaps we should call it savvy style. He's the most fashionable pirate to date and scores of guys want to be like him. So much that they dress like him.

But how can you, the average Joe, achieve your own Savvy style? Here are a few pointers for those looking to pirate and look cool doing it.

First, you've got to have the hair. Without it, you're just a guy in a funny coat and hat.

Jack Sparrow's hair was a combination of long locks and dreads. With a trademark braid to one side, a couple of beads and a coin (better known as one of the pieces of eight), Captain Jack's hair gave him rock star flair and made him the perennial favorite of doxies in ports everywhere.

Captain Jack's trademark red bandana kept his long locks from getting too unruly and also protected his scalp from the harsh Caribbean sun when he was without his hat.

Of course, Jack was rarely without that essential tricorn hat and without it, you're nothing more than a pirate captain wannabe. Wear it and wear it proud. Just make sure not to get too much Kraken slime on it if you're ever swallowed whole by that thing.

While it might seem a trivial thing, the jacket truly sets Jack apart from the rest. No longer is he just a pirate, he's a pirate captain.

Captain Jack's navy blue frock coat gave him an air of authority even when he seemed a bit witless (which is just a ruse, I assure you).

Most of them were stolen. A few were gifts.

A mix of jade, gold and silver, some of these rings were stolen from the fingers of the original owners when they simply weren't looking. Stolen or not, they are now part of Jack Sparrow and without them, Jack is simply a pirate without treasure - which, of course, is no pirate at all.

Self explanatory, darlin'. Without it, you're a pirate without style. And isn't that what this is all about?
