I fell in love with the Telenovela "Las Tontas No Van al Cielo" (which roughly translates to-dumb women don't go to heaven) from the first episode. The little known actress Jacqueline Bracamontes took her clothes off and was running around in her skivvies. How gutsy of her, I thought, to not only shed her clothes off for TV, but to run with just a bra and underwear. I mean… when you run all your flab is going to shake. It’s not a pretty show, but she looked confident and comfortable, and I looked and I became a fan. The show is a drama-comedy with some great actors… even my husband who doesn’t understand any Spanish loves the show. I explained to him the basis of the story and he picks up the rest completely by motion.

Jacqueline Bracamontes was born on Dec. 1979 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her father is Jesus Bracamontes, the former coach of the popular Mexican soccer team Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara. During High School she spent a year at the well known Overbrook Academy of the legionaries of Christ in Conneticut,U.S. She later traveled to France to study French for a year. After returning from Mexico Jacqueline continued her studies at the Technological Institute of Superior Studies of the West. During her studies Jacqueline began a modeling career that would later launch her into the Miss Mexico pageant, where she won the state and national titles. After winning Jacqueline pursued television by hosting several shows, and used her acting skills in several Telenovelas and movies. Jacqueline jumped to theatre by starring in a Mexican play, and she decided to study English acting in Los Angeles, Ca for six months.
