1. Best vacuums for a minimal budget
-Eureka Boss Smart Vac 4870 mz. This upright vacuum is a bagger, which is a drawback to the many on the quest for a bagless. This vacuum does boast a HEPA filter which is great for you allergy suffers. It is also quieter compared to most low budget models. The downfalls of this vacuum are few. It does weigh 21 pounds, which makes it hard to lug around and up and down steps. You also have that nasty bag that will need changing.
2. Luxury Vacuum Category
-The Dyson DC18 wins this review hands down. This vacuum has been all the rage the last couple of years. You are able to use this vacuum on any floor. It also has strong suction, is lightweight, and easy to maneuver. The drawback is that it has a price tag at $400. It also still has some exposure to dust when you empty the canister.
3. Light Weight Bagger Category
-This review is awarded to the Hoover Tempo Wide Path. This vacuum is easy to push and pull then many other vacuums in this category. It works well on both carpet and rugs. It is not recommended for hard floors because the brush roller does not shut off. Some of the drawbacks to this vacuum are that it has an extremely long 25-foot card. It also, as was stated earlier is not good for bare floors.
4. The Bagless upright review
-This category goes to the Kenmore Progressive 3692. In most tests this little a power house out did Dyson on carpet and bare floors. This vacuum unfortunately is not self-propelled but the rotating brush helps move it across the floor. The onboard attachments work well as well. The drawback is that for one it does weigh 20 pounds so it will be difficult to move around. Also, it is not a self-propelled vacuum.
5. The Robot Vacuum
-This category goes to the Robot Roomba Discovery. In most tests, this little vacuum did a good job. Due to its small size, it is able to reach into small spaces unlike the bigger vacuums.
