The Total Money Makover by Dave Ramsey
Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover is an outstanding book to help you get your finances under control.
Dave Ramsey has developed a system to get out of debt and build wealth. He offers an excellent class called Financial Peace University. This is a 13 week class that is offered throughout the United States. The cost is usually $100 which includes you with a membership kit. Simply go to Dave Ramsey's website at www.daveramsey.com to find out more information.
You are probably asking "what does Financial Peace University have to do with The Total Money Makeover?" Well, here is the answer. The Total Money Makeover is basically a condensed version of Financial Peace University (FPU). If you are not sure if you want to go through FPU or if you don't think you have $100 then buying The Total Money Makeover would be a good idea. While FPU is very entertaining and more in depth than The Total Money Makeover, The Total Money Makeover has plenty of information to help you get your finances under control.
Dave Ramsey instructs you how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, build wealth and give. This book is very easy to read and understand. He also includes forms at the back of the book to help you do some of the things he suggests such a make a budget. If you follow what is taught, you will have success. Most of the information is very basic common sense stuff.
Buying The Total Money Makeover is well worth the investment.
