You may choose to believe it or you may not. It is your choice. Let this be your warning though. Without taking a pro-active stance on the issue you can be sure that what you do on the internet is not a secret. What ever website you view, whatever file you download; it doesn't matter because it is all being tracked. Your ISP and every server you connect to have log files keeping a record of your visit. So even if the government is not watching your internet traffic at the very moment, they can always look at the log of records from your ISP. For many this would make you very uncomfortable.

Relax. There is a solution. In fact there are really many solutions to the very scary problem. SurfingProxy.net is dedicated to these solutions. We believe that every individual has a general right to privacy when using the internet. The first solution I would like to touch on today is actually part of our name, proxy. Using proxy servers is probably the most popular, quick way to anonymize your internet traffic. The internet is literally swarming with different free and pay-per-use proxy services. You can find list after list of proxy server IP addresses from all over the world. You can find an absurd amount of web based proxy services, many of which are slow but free. Finally, you can certainly find fast but costly proxy services to use.

Depending on who you are and what you do, will determine what the best proxy service option is for you. What all of these services essentially provide is a level anonymity on the internet. The setup works in that you connect your computer to the proxy server. After connecting, all of your internet traffic is routed through the proxy server. So to your ISP all of your internet traffic appears to be going to and from the proxy server itself. Even the final destination servers only see the connection as coming from the proxy server; thus giving you a ‘level' of anonymity on the internet.
