Old gone New Completed

Was the Old Covenant made with the Jews and the New Covenant with the Gentiles.??

The Old Covenant was made at Sinai, and was an agreement between God and Israel.

Ex:19:3: And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
Ex:19:4: Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
Ex:19:5: Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Ex:19:6: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
Ex:19:7: And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
Ex:19:8: And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

The people promised to keep all his words "if ye will obey my voice" and "and keep my covenant"

Ex:24:8: And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

De:4:12: And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
De:4:13: And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
De:4:14: And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

God spoke the Ten Commandments & added no other commandments.Exod 20: 3-22

De:5:22: These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

After hearing the words of God given to Moses, the people promised twice to obey.

Ex:24:3: And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

Ex:24:7: And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

The Covenant was then sealed with the blood of a sacrifice

Ex:24:8: And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Heb:9:19: For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Heb:9:20: Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

The people of Israel had voluntarily promised to make themselves righteous. In this agreement God made no promise to help them, and they failed to ask God for divine aid.

Therefore Israels promises to keep the Ten Commandments was impossible , and also impossible to fulfil, and it would still be the same today, without the Grace of God our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the New Covenant the "better promises" are that God himself will forgive our past present and future sins and write his commandments in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Joh:15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh:15:6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Ph'p:3:9: And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

2Co:3:3: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

1Jo:5:2: By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

Jo:5:3: For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

The Old Covenant was based on the promises of the people to make themselves righteous

The New Covenant is based upon better promises

Heb:8:6: But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Heb:8:7: For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Heb:8:8: For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Heb:8:9: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Heb:8:10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb:8:12: For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb:8:13: In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

The New Covenant is also made with Israel but a new Israel a Spritual Israel

Jer:31:31: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jer:31:32: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Ro:9:4: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

Eph:2:11: Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph:2:12: That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph:2:13: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Ro:2:28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Ro:2:29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Ga:3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Ga:3:29: And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

It is called the New Covenant but can also be called the Second Covenant

Heb:9:16: For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Heb:9:17: For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Heb:9:18: Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

Lu:22:20: Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Da:9:27: And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

New Covenat is also called the Gospel the everlasting covenant, it also spreads back to the origin of sin into this world.

Jer:31:33: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer:31:34: And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The Old covenant revealed the need for a New Covenant through the provision of Forgiveness and Salvation

Heb:9:14: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Heb:9:15: And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Heb:6:13: For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Heb:6:16: For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Heb:6:17: Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Heb:6:18: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Heb:6:19: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Heb:6:20: Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Ro:4:17: (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Ga:3:17: And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

The works of righteousness required by the Law appear in our lives as God under the New Covenant of Grace, which writes the Law in our hearts

Heb:8:10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb:8:11: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Joh:15:4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh:15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Heb:13:21: Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Ga:2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ph'p:2:13: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Saved by Grace

Ac:4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Only lost souls with very little hope and wisdom would listen to an out-of-shape fascists like you for salvation advice? You wouldn't even be able to save your physical life if you were hanging over a cliff. You're going to catch the souls of men in your net, when you couldn't do one chin up to save your life? I see your devote faith in Jesus has led you to a frugal life of fasting and giving to others before yourself. I also see your faith has made you gentle and wise.

Peace be with you Brother, I hope you can find the courage to come out from behind your shaded glasses of twisted ego games and enter into the light of Jah Truth! There is only you to save yourself!
