A lot of debate can be said about which airsoft rifle is the best weapon to use on the playing field. There's over a thousand different type and makes of airsoft rifles in the market. The extreme sport of an Airsoft has grown so large that paintball is the thing of the past. Everyday more and more kids and adults are playing this sport which has taken the extreme sport by storm!

I few reason why I believe the spot of Airsoft has gather so much attention lately is because of the current situation over in Iraq. Majority of Airsoft players are in the military or ex-military. I know some guys whom are currently in the states from their tour in Iraq that plays Airsoft just to keep them in "check" with the urban tactic combat they face in the Middle East. Some of the players were paintball enthusiant.

With so many guys playing Airsoft, which is the ultimate airsoft rifle to get your hands on?

I have seen a lot of players carrying airsoft sniper rifles on the playing field and always wondered how benefice is a sniper rifle on the field going to do. There's one thing you have to consider about playing Airsoft and that is strategy!

You'll have certain players on your team would with be the front line, equip with automatic airsoft assualt rifles, recon guys with SAW and the "fall-back" guys who are the snipers of your team.

After thinking about it for awhile I started to figure out the importants of the airsoft sniper rifle. These guys camp out in the back and take out guys sometimes 300 yards away! I also notice that these guys don't always stay in one place, they are always change position either for a better shot or to change their cover. The craziest sniper rifle I saw on the playing field was an 50 cal airsoft sniper rifle with a scope and bipod. It really did look like the really thing and the accuracy and range of the shoot was unbelieveable.

So if you ever thought of playing I would highly recommend being a sniper for your team, if you got the steady hands and the patience then this position is right for you. There are many other position you should test your skills at but by far being a sniper has to be the coolest Airsoft position!
