Ultimate Tea Diet: The Basic Concept

The Ultimate Tea Diet is one that is rapidly growing in popularity with dieters and nutritionists alike, in large part because it is a diet plan that is based around good deating habits, daily physical activity, and drinking a lot of tea - a drink that has numerous health benefits that includes aiding weight loss.  While the ultimate tea diet might not get the attention of say Wu-Yi tea, but it does offer an excellent long term eating and life style plan that can help people lose any unhealthy excess of weight and keep it off permanantly.  This diet is also based on a book that was written by Mark Ukra.  Beyond getting the positive effects from drinking tea, the Ultimate tea diet encourages healthy and balanced meals, which is the key to healthy life long living.

Does Tea Aid Weight Loss?

One of the most obvious questions that should pop up right away when looking at the ultimate tea diet is to figure out whether or not tea actually does aid in weight loss or fat loss. Because if it doesn't, then the first instinct would be to dismiss this diet as a fad. The good news is that there are tons of reports and research results that show that tea of almost any kind will aid in fat loss and in weight loss. There are several reasons why tea aids in weight loss, and it doesn't matter what type of tea it is (although some studies suggest that depending on the goal, some types of tea might be *slightly* better than others), almost any type of natural tea has some great effects in helping you to lose weight.

First of all, tea doesn't have calories, which means any calorie drink replaced by tea is going to start saving you some calories right off the bat. Several benefits of tea include:

  • Natural caffiene that can give energy, help boost metabolism, and burn extra calories
  • Tea is loaded with anti-oxidants that slow signs of aging and help detoxify the body
  • Drinking tea can keep you hydrated and be even better for you than drinking water
  • Drinking tea daily can make you more resistant to many common diseases
  • Drinking tea consistently will help you burn calories and fat

All these positive effects can make it easy to see why the ultimate tea diet has gained so much popularity.

Losing Weight with the Ultimate Tea Diet

Losing weight while following the ultimate tea diet is not difficult if this diet is followed properly.  Like the MediterrAsian Way Diet, part of the reason that this eating plan is effective for so many people is because there are a lot of options for food, and not many restrictions.  There are very few foods that are "completely off limits," but the point with the ultimate tea diet is that you eat balanced healthy meals.  These meals are portion controlled to provide a full sized meal without allowing for a huge amount of over eating.  Every plate should be balanced between carbs, proteins, and fats, and all carbs should be complex carbs.

Tea is to be drank three times a day separate from meals, and you can drink tea during the meals, as well, if you feel like it.  This balanced diet, along with the very positive effects that come from drinking so much tea consistently, makes the ultimate tea diet a great solution to many dieters' weight loss problems.

Get Support While on the Ultimate Tea Diet

One of the most important parts of any weight loss plan is having support.  As with most things in life, it's often easiest to get to a goal when you have other people to encourage and support you through the ups and downs of the entire weight loss process.  Whether you choose to go on a diet like the ultimate tea det, or choose a different route completely, getting that support structure can be the difference between success and failure.  This is a major reason why based on my own personal experiences I'm a big fan of ediets.com.

The reason I like ediets is simple: they have the best support groups online, experts as well as other dieters, and although they tend to focus on a specific set of proven diets like the GI diet or the Mediterranean Diet, they offer hundreds of recipes for these plans.  For a diet and weight loss plan like the ultimate tea diet where specific meal plans aren't needed, but only balanced plates, these recipes are still as good as gold.  The online tracking system for weigh ins also displays as a point chart and a bar chart - making it even more supportive and encouraging to a dieter.

So if you're going to start the ultimate tea diet, or any other weight loss plan, I recommend at least checking out this website to see if they can provide the help you need to really hit your weight loss goals.

The Ultimate Tea Diet, Conclusion

While the ultimate tea diet might not have the full attention of other very popular weight loss plans, it is gaining in popularity and for good reason.  The health benefits of tea simply can not be overestimated, and when made into a daily helpful habit that goes along with a good healthy eating plan and diet, it's no wonder that many dieters are seeing major success with this diet not only in losing the excess weight, but in keeping it off, as well.  If you love tea, and are needing to lose some extra weight, consider the ultimate tea diet plan as the type of diet that might be perfect for you and every one of your weight loss needs.

As a tea drinker, I agree that drinking tea can keep weight in check. Apart from its high concentration of flavonoids, just the time taken to enjoy a cuppa of tea is relaxing and will do wonders to combat stress.

Hi angInwu,

I agree. It seems like every week there's another study saying how amazing tea is and how it extends length of life and quality of life. I'm a big tea drinker myself now, and absolutely love it. The difference to me has been obvious from week to week, and I don't think tea is just for dieters - everyone can benefit. Thanks for the positive comment on my ultimate tea diet hub!
