We all know that people with speech and hearing impairment use sign language to communicate. Hand signals are also used by other people to convey meaning without speaking. In different countries, the same hand signal might mean differently.

Putting your thumb and forefinger together to make a circle can either mean the number three, ok, or money.

Holding up the fore and middle finger to make a V-sign can mean victory or peace.

But did you know that this is also the most often used pose when taking pictures?

In Bellhop Chronicles, the article Typical Asian Photos showed various people from Asia, young and old, girls and boys posing for a camera picture with the V-sign hand signal.

And as you can see below, I am also guilty of this trait. Being a Filipina and all. :D
