The Value of Testimonials and Referrals

The value of testimonials and referrals on your business is undeniable. Testimonials and referrals are great addition to your sales letter and are perfect in convincing your customers that your products indeed work effectively.

Just like in Kevin Hill's video letter, he shared his recent visit to the dentist. Prior to his visit to the dentist, he asked around ten of his office mates on who they think is the best dentist. Majority of them referred the same dentist. So without a doubt, he called the dentist's clinic, not to ask anymore about his service, but to arranged for an appointment right away.

You see how the power of testimonials and referrals work. The more positive feedbacks you hear about someone, like in Kevin's case a dentist, the higher your chances of taking their services.

This concept can also be used on internet marketing. You can ask your customers to write testimonials about your services or products. Positive testimonials can be used as proofs that your products and services indeed are effective and really works. These can help you have a positive image on your customers and helping you increase your chances of selling your products.

However, when posting testimonials be sure that you are being realistic. Never make any false testimonials or claims about your products just so you can get your potential customers. Instead, focus on improving your products and services better. Always keep in mind, too that when you post testimonials, you include all facts and data so customers will have more confidence in doing business with you.

I totally agree. I often say 1 video testimonial is worth 100 cold calls...
