They say you never realize what you have until it’s gone. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to find each other again. I swear the moment I saw you that day, after those few years of not so much as a “hello” seemed to fade away, and it was like we had started back where we left off. I remember not being able to stop smiling. You always seemed to know how to make me smile. It’s as if fate brought you back to me after all that time. Like it knew that maybe things would have come together better if we were allowed a few years to grow. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t get butterflies in my stomach at just the thought of you. You’ve made my life complete in every way possible.
