The Lotus

The Wanton Won-ton: Random Observations

Introduction: The Lotus

“As a lotus flower is born in water, grows in water and rises out of water to stand above it unsoiled, so I, born in the world, raised in the world having overcome the world, live unsoiled by the world”

Of course, Buddhist and Asian philosophy also focuses on the fact that the lotus actually grows, pure and beautiful, out of the mud. It rises out of the muck to become something beautiful and inspirational.

I have tried to live my life after this philosophy.  Throughout my ramblings, rants, observations and records, I am sure the reason for my ambition will become clear.  I will try to update this blog twice a week, or whenever inspiration hits me.  I tend to have random, crazy thoughts at all hours, and will try to record them here!
