Yeah, your warrior is a tank, whether he/she is fighting King Gordok or that annoying gnome rogue in Warsong Gulch. Keeping the warrior going is what allows everyone else to do their jobs in pvp. There is nothing that causes more havoc in a big pvp crowd like a warrior, especially if they know how to play their class properly.

It is practically guaranteed that if the warrior is taken out of the fight, their side of the battle will soon follow. The reason for this is simple. The warrior is the toughest player in the group, all things being equal, and while they are still fighting, everyone on the other side is going to be slowed, dotted, demoralized and subject to intercept stuns, shield bashes and all manner of mayhem and confusion.

It's not a mistake that warriors were given taunt as a trainable ability. Let them do their job, and you'll be surprised at how much easier your job can be.
