Colonel James Churchward's Map of Mu showing how close it would have been to America

Are the Washitaw the original Americans?

The Washitaw Nation are black Americans but they say they did not come from Africa but were already there and were the builders of the ancient mounds. Mounds and pyramid shaped constructions are found in the American States of Ohio, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi and elsewhere. Poverty Point is the largest mound of these earthworks.

The Washitaw had an established civilisation in America and have been described as the oldest inidgenous people. They claim they were there before the tribal peoples known today as Native American, and were there long before the white Europeans who invaded the land.

The Washitaw are also known as the "Washitaw Muurs," and "The Diggers," the "Ancient Ones," and the "Prehistoric Mound Builders" are other names for these people. The Olmecs of Mexico were also likely to have been black people as has been shown in surviving artifacts from that time period .

The Washitaw today claim that they were always in America and were there when it was still part of the world landmass known today as Pangaea. It is also been said that they came originally from Mu (Muu) that was known as the "Motherland" and which went under the ocean just as Atlantis did. The story of Mu and its demise were written about in a series of books by Colonel James Churchward. Either way, the Washitaw were an original people living in America.

It is known from skeletons that have been found that some of the original mound builders were giants reaching some 7ft or more in height. The only other race of people who often get as tall as this are the Massai in Africa, who are again a black people.

Could these mound builders be the "giants" referred to in the Holy Bible?

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown." Gen 6:4

A book - Return of the ancient ones: (the true history uncovered) of the Washitaw de Dugdahmoundyah Empire by Empress Verdiacee Washitaw-Turner Goston was published in 1993 although it is very hard to obtain now. We Are The Washitaw (The Washitaw Doctrine) by R A Umar S. Bey is much easier to get hold of and a copy is on it's way to me now.

Many years back I remember seeing an interesting television documentary which suggested that black people used to live in South America long ago and that they had been massacred by invading tribal people who came down from the north and replaced them. It pointed out that some of the surviving negro genes could be seen today in some families living in Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia. It also made reference to the Olmecs, whose designs show negroid features. The documentary theorised that black people had colonised South America before anyone else, which ties in well with what is said about the Washitaw.

Washington is said to be from the same root as Washitaw and it is significant to note that in conspiracy theory Washington DC is regarded as a major centre of the Illuminati masonic elite who run the world. That the truth about the black original Native Americans has been well hidden is not surprising. Dominant cultures always seek to stamp out evidence of the past and the true history of people they invaded and displaced.

Besides the black people who were originally in America, there were also many people who became known as Black Indians, such as the Black Seminoles where black Africans were welcomed by Native American tribes.

Wikipedia tells us:

"The Black Seminoles are descendants of free Africans and some runaway slaves who escaped from coastal South Carolina and Georgia into the Florida wilderness beginning as early as the late 1600s. They joined with the Native Americans inhabiting Florida at the same period. Together, the two groups formed the Seminole tribe, a multi-ethnic and bi-racial alliance."

The history of America is very different to what we see in Western films and are brought up to believe.

This is quite a hub. I have been fascinated by mounds and those that have built them for for about 18 years since i first learned about the mounds in Georgia wheil taking an Anthropology class while at Washington State University. Now that I live in Georgia an hour from the Mounds in macon Georgia I am even more interested. This is a wwonderful Hub. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you for the infomation. I have read that the oldest skeltons found in America are very much like the Australian aborigines. They also have found skeltions of Europeon people going back 10.000 in America as well. So the ancient history of America is probably far more complex than we know.

highly interesting, in 1963 i was a third grader in indiana and we were taught indiana state history...they taught us about the presence of numerous mounds thereof and referred to them as the mound builders...little was known except for their exceptional size as you have mentioned...I haven't watched the videos u posted yet..there was speculation as to why they built the mounds, perhaps burial sites..but they weren't really sure..I am recounting this all by memory, but as you know, 1963 was a pivotal year here i.e., our president was assasinated and we were entertained by the live coverage and repeated replays..I can recall watching jack ruby shoot oswald after we were sent home from school...pretty scary stuff for an eight year old.

anyways, they seemed to have disappeared(the mound builders).

i also recall that, somewhere in the bible, reference is made to the destruction of the giants, maybe someone else with more biblical knowledge could enlighten us...it would be interesting to c if the mound builders disappeared at the same time that this was written...

as always..a fine article bard..I checked out your friend freeman's perspective..thanx for the direction...finding him to be refreshing and found many links through him to other informative and enlightening sites...it's always a relief to find answers to questions long sought...or at least to find oneself on a path to...

in summation, might I add, write on, write on...

I am wondering if there is any link between the Washitaw and the Watchers since both revere the bird spirit with regards to the afterlife. I'll see if i can get my friend to burn you a copy of the cygnus dvd and pop it in the post to you. I'm sure you will find the whole theory very interesting. I met Andrew once, at a Cygnus conference in Glastonbury and discussed his theories with him, and have been a follower of his work since the late 80's, when he wrote The Black Alchemist (which was based around the area in which I lived). He's a very interesting man (if a bit arrogant!) and has made some startling discoveries, that have put the theories of Michael Baijent and Robert Bauval into question, and has challenged some universities teachings, which student are now looking into, concerning their studies of ancient archaeology. You should check out the Gobekli Tepe temple in Turkey, for the earliest recognised bird cult devotion in the euphrates delta.

Thanks, Lou! I have corresponded with Andrew in the past and he well aware of what is on this island. All these mysteries often link to other parts of the whole jigsaw but one of the problems I see is that not only does academic mainstream thought and its media frown on information that challenges what is taught but individual authors and researchers often have their own agendas and conveniently leave out anything that doesn't fit and so it makes it very hard to get definite info on so many things. Sometimes the more I look the less I know for certain! lol

Lou Purplefairy profile image

Lou Purplefairy  says:

lol! i agree with the statement "the more i learn, the less i know", and yes, when authors are relying on their publications for their incomes, they are subject to censorship and leaving bits out to make it fit their theories, which is why it is often so confusing and contradictory. I never give up looking and learning though, just like your good self. Glad you found it interesting. I was fascinated with his theory about Cygnus, and its made a lot of sense, where other theories did not. The book is a good read if you get hold of a copy. I love reading your research because its so interesting. I have long believed that people have existed on this planet for far longer than has been previously reported. And the whole thing about people inhabiting Pangea makes a lot of sense to my mind. There is currently a program on the BBC at the moment called "The Great Human Race" and I have the information purported as "absolute truth" to be very misleading. Its a shame so many people will take this information as absolute fact, narrowing their view to the many possibilities and evidence which is out there, but not publicised. Sheeple Public 0: NWO 1 :(

Bard of Ely profile image

Bard of Ely  says:

I have been reading comments on YouTube from people/sheeple who object to the idea that black people could have been the original inhabitants of America and are leaving comments saying these black people should accept that they were brought over from Africa. I know that black people lived in America originally and that is why I posted about the documentary and found a link to a site all about the black people of Patagonia. If there why not in the rest of the continent?

On the subject of Pangea there's a comment at Facebook in my link there saying that people could not have been alive at this time because, wait for it...Science proved it! It must be true then!

Lou Purplefairy profile image

Lou Purplefairy  says:

O dear me. Some people!. There was an interesting chapter in a book by Michael Baijent, where he talks of fossilised footprints made by a human foot wearing a sandal, that had a later trilobite fossil inlaid into it! And what about the artefacts made of precious metal encase in 500million year old rock strata found in the gold and diamond mines? Or the fossilised worked wooden planks encased in rock strata found to be millions of years old? How science can prove how that happened I dont know. But these anomolies exist and are hidden away from public view in the basements of our museums because they dont "fit the theory"! All i can say is these people who have objected to the idea of black people living in America before the "traditional native americans and the white man" are very closed minded. If we are to believe the research from the BBC programme about the human race, then EVERYONE on this planet is genetically descended from a tribe of a few hundred people from Africa! I wonder what they would make of that!

Bard of Ely profile image

Bard of Ely  says:

Yes, so much of it is about fitting the accepted model that is taught! If it's not true it's not true and let's throw it out I say no matter how many people accept it or who says it is right!

I have added in a new video I found that is one of the ones with people objecting to it!

The BBC programme you mention sounds interesting. But what about the idea that the original people were on Mu. And what about the humans from the Lyraen empire that Stewart Swerdlow and Alex Collier say were the first humans and were not from this planet at all? Perhaps there were a lot of original people about? lol

Credo Mutwa told David Icke about the creation of humans in the long interview he gave and that would have been in Africa.

Steve, as far as far as the BBC goes, there is no mention of Mu, Lyraens, Alex Collier or Stewart Swerdlow, and all of this "genetic truth" is based upon the gentic profiles of a few thousand peoples. Considering the number of people on this planet is close to 7bn I think this is a massively poor percentage "tested". And who's to say its not just some fabricated results anyhow. It does not take into account any of the older artefacts found on this planet, and is presented in such a patronizing way its ridiculous. The sad fact is, that because its a BBC programme with real "doctors" in it and "experts" average joe and edna smith will take this bunkum as absolute truth just because its been on telly and therefore must be true. Unfortunately, the general public would find that type of theory easier to swallow that the idea of off world beings coming here, despite there being more evidence for the latter than the former. As far as public opinion is concerned I am afraid that truth has very little to do with anything and people in general will believe what they are told by institutions they trust, without giving a second thought to actually checking out the evidence and credibility of its programme makers. I'll check out the new videos. Thanks for updating.

Lou, that doesn't surprise me at all! I don't watch TV now! What I meant about it being interesting is that it sounds as if it suggests that the first people were blacks which ties in with the American stuff.

I have added a map of Mu too.

Lou Purplefairy  says:

The programme is going along the lines that a small tribe of a few hundred Africans crossed into Arabia and populated the world from there. It does aknowledge that there was a large gene pool in Africa, but only that the small tribe's decendants survived and all of the other DNA branches died off, because, as scientists, they have not found evidence to prove otherwise. Sadly, I believe that many concientious people are completely unaware of information that had been hidden and denied from the general public. The program stated that no matter who we are, what race we are, we all descended from this small tribe. I can see some paralells in that story with regard to the first man being genetically engineered from a single group of beings, but with so many indigenous peoples claiming that they are descended from peoples from different star systems, I fail to see how we all definately stem from one group of peoples. Unfortunately, the evidence they were using to support their theory was based on an undisclosed group of people's DNA, and I doubt that many of the worlds smaller indigenous tribes actually took part in this study. I think its an interesting theory like any other, but I fail to see that their evidence is conclusive, since the test group of a few thousand is way too small considering the vast population number of people on this . I can see how the "all out of Africa" theory ties in with the America stuff, and I believe that the human race is far older than we believe. It makes sense that people stayed on the land and the land moved to my mind. I also think that the intelligence of ancient peoples is vastly underestimated. Just because they did not use a wheel or live the way we live today, does not make then less intelligent. I believe ancient peoples had far more understanding and knowledge than we have today, and would probably see us as the less intelligent ones!

note: no mention of the olmecs or the washitaw!

Lou, it makes sense to me that there were a first group of humans on the planet and it looks likely to me that they were black. I have often seen information about the root races of the planet and my understanding is that these were created (or moved here) at different times and on different places. There have been a lot of ET races involved and for a very long time. Stewart Swerdlow who has agreed to be a guest on Debbie's show again talks in detail about them in his books and lectures. He also says that the reptilians were here before any humans. Alex Collier's work backs up a lot that Stewart says about the Draco reptilians and the Lyraen humans.

Basically humans did not originate on this planet and they have been interfered with genetically and by cultural manipulation and programming by other races from other worlds. Disclosure Project Witness Sgt Clifford Stone talks about 56 known alien races some of which beings he has met with.

All of what have just posted would not be accepted by traditional academic scientists or a BBC documentary.

Alex Collier is one of my favourite contactees and I see that Bill and Kerry now have him down as a guest at a big Project Camelot event they are organising.

You have done a fantastic job again. I never knew this info before. I was watching a program where some of the ancient structures built could have been influenced by "aliens" although I find that too much to believe but still I love to watch those programs. :D

Bard of Ely  says:

Thank you, Countrywomen! To my mind this idea makes so much sense. The conquerors/invaders always do their utmost to stop future generations finding out true history and this would be the case here. The American founders of the US were all white men and many of them were masons. They would have had no trouble in stopping real knowledge of the past getting out because they have always controlled the education system and the mainstream media.

There is no reason at all that the idea that aliens interacted with and interbred with humans long ago means that they did this with white humans. Elderly Zulu shaman Credo Mutwa talks at some length to David Icke about the reptilian alien beings that, he says, were responsible for creating people as they became. Credo calls these aliens Chitauri.

Yes, history is written by the winners, in this case white folks, so it appears. But evidence for black people being in America well before Native Americans is not convincing. Ask just about any reputable archaeologist. Moreover, any references to the Lost Continent of Mu and/or modern humans living in Pangea, a continent that existed 300 million years ago, is nothing less than absurd. Nevertheless, thanks for filling me in on the Washitaw. As I said, many people have a grand view of their origins. Anything negative would have been forgotten a long time ago, right? Later!
