True Blood is the absolute hottest thing to hit the television world in years! If you don't love this HBO series, then you must have already had blood sucked dry from your veins! Since it's launch on September 7, 2008 the show has been killing (no pun intended) all competition. This is no doubt due mostly to having an incredible show, combined with an outstanding marketing plan. You should definitely not count out the fact that the women on True Blood have in bringing in the viewers though. The show's producers made sure to cast some of the hottest young talent that Hollywood had to offer for this one!

True Blood was created and produced by the incredible mind of Alan Ball. He based the show on the Sookie Stackhouse book series written by Charlaine Harris. Charlaine was able to capture the vampire ire in a way that has never been done before. True Blood is a world where vampires, humans, and even werewolves co-exist with each other. The setting chosen is a made-up town in the state of Louisiana. The whole 'voodoo' vibe of Louisiana does nothing but add to the effect. Of course, the cast chosen had to add their own bit of spice and mystery to accurately capture the characters. The women on True Blood do exactly that! Not to mention, they're extremely hot and sexy!

Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse

Anna Paquin has the pleasure of occupying the role of the series main character Sooki Stackhouse. Sookie is a waitress at a local restaurant that has been cursed with the ability to listen to folk's thoughts. She ends up falling in love with a vampire and so on a so forth (I don't want to spoil the plot for you). I'd rate Anna Paquin a solid 8 out 10 on the Sexy Blood meter of mine. I hadn't really seen it in her previous roles such as Rogue in the X-Men series. Maybe it's because she shows a little skin. Oh yes, we get a quick glimpse of Anna Paquin nude. This is HBO after all! Did you really think they'd make a series with hot chicks and vampires but no naked goodness? Anna ends up in a few steamy scenes with her vampire love interest, Bill. All I know is that Bill is one lucky blood sucker!

Rutina Wesley as Tara Mae Thornton

Of all the women on True Blood, it can be said that Rutina Wesley is the "spice" of the cast. She plays, and nails, the role of Tara Mae Thornton on the show. Tara is a tough as iron, African-American woman that takes mess from no one! Nearly every episode, Tara is cursing someone out and causing a ruckus. Attitude or not, one thing's for sure and that is the fact that Tara is hot! Rutina Wesley was a pick that added a sexiness to this role that is hard to even put into words. A trained dancer, her body is simply amazing! Luckily, we get to see a bit of it during Tara's fling with her boss Sam. I'm definitely not mad at that fact!

Lizzy Caplan as Amy Burley

In the role of Amy Burley, I can say beyond the shadow of any doubt that Lizzy Caplan has the hottest role of all the women on True Blood! Amy is the drug-addicted lover of Jason Stackhouse, Sookie's brother. In case you're wondering, the drug of choice in True Blood isn't cocaine, marijuana, or methamphetamine. It's "V-juice," short for vampire juice. As in...vampire blood! Lizzy's character is about as v-juice crazy as they come! The good thing for us viewers is that the drug seems to have an effect similar to that of ecstasy pills times 100. Of course, this leads to a bunch of episodes with Lizzy Caplan nude and having these wild love scenes with Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason Stackouse. I have never seen a wilder scene than the whole 'field' episode. I won't ruin it. Go check it out!
