Runescape

There are many people who participate in the online community of Runescape. The best part is that you can have a good time playing the game without paying anything for it unlike many online games. I started playing Runescape at a very young age and it is still a very fun game to play. It doesn't bring about the best graphics in the world but as far as free online games go, it has to be right up there for the best! If you have had the chance to get involved in the game you will find that you are faced with many things to do. Many people have a hard time trying to level in the game at a pace they would like to and myself one of the hardest things to do was make money. I would like to share a few ideas and thoughts on how to play Runescape along with some tips on how to level faster and make money. If you have not ever played Runescape go check it out now at www.runescape.com

Runescape's new look brought out awhile back!

Runescape HD

Runescape is a game of constant changing and updates. If you are involved in the game you know this by their very active Jagex crew. One of the most impressing and well needed updates that were brought out is the Runescape HD. This is not a new update but one well worth mentioning just to let people realize that they keep improving the game. If you take a look at their trailor you will see what all came with the new Runescape HD update!

Runescape background

To start things off I would like to share some of my most Runescape history. At one time being a very avid player of Runescape I payed a monthly fee for membership privlages which I believe is well worth it if you are into the game enough. No matter I have been on both sides non-member and member. I did not become a member until I reached level 60, the reason is I wanted to be high enough to actaully accomplish things I wanted. When I first started playing Runescape it was less strict then it is now, so there was always a lot of scamming and real world trading going on which is against the games rules for obvious reasons. I did sadly get ripped off a few times but managed to bounce back better then before! I have been able to reach level 122 non-member/ 126 members in my time of playing and have accumlated several millions in gold. When I played merchanting was always a huge way to make gold, the thing is you must have gold to make gold so in later posts I will try to give you some pointers on bringing in some decent money. I have also had the experince of trying to learn how to make money like a lot of places will promise you and believe me most of the things you read about making so much money in an hour is just crazy talk. Being a non-member making money and leveling is reasonably more difficult but still very possible. Once you have the basic idea down on what to do you can accomplish many things in the world of Runescape. I believe one of the most important things in my ability to become a well rounded Runescape player is the ability to set goals/ or have ideas of what I wanted to accomplish in a certain amount of time. I believe that was the key to me being able to reach high levels, and earn a great profit in a reasonable amount of time.

Leveling Combat for begginers

There are tons of ways to level on Runescape and not only that but tons of abilities to level. I am going to start with one that most people are concerned about from the start and that is the comabt level. The combat level is calculated by your hitpoints, attack, strength, defence, range, magic, and prayer levels. For begginers I would like to advise that you level all you can in the beggining off of the dummies and targets in the tutorial. From their you have many options but I found it best to fight things near my level so I could get a fair amount of kills per trip while training my levels. When training you will need food, and maybe you do not have a lot of money, then I would advise either fishing for your own food or buying cheap food, especially at low levels. Some of the basic and fairly cheap food to use are trout and salmon. Now to find what exactly you want to train on if you have now idea I would advise checking out RuneHQ.com. If you have any questions on how to use this site and what you should be looking for please leave comments so I can get back to you. Once you find what you will be fighting and you have your weapon and armor of choice you should fill your pack of food, find the location of the monsters you are fighting and proceed to fight them and collect all items you feel are worth value to keep. Non-members at low levels will most likely level best off of monsters such as Goblins, dwarves, and scorpions. These are easily killed and can help you rack up adequet experince for fast and suffecient leveling. I will go in depth with some more Runescape leveling knowledge as I continue to expand my postings.

Money Tips

Many players on Runescape have one thing in common and that is they all want to make gold. The one thing I would like for everyone to know is if you want to have a nice some of gold, then you should refrain from spending your money on random items. Everyone has the ability to get things by using their skills. If you need food and aren't to lazy to fish, then fish for your food, it will increas your fishing experince and overall experince and save you money. Some very well rewarding skills include: fishing, mine ores, and woodcutting. Even combat will reward you with some decent items and cash if you have a high enough level. Mining is probably the quickest way to make money at a low level. Reaching the level to mine iron and coal are very good ways to bring in a good income of gold. Mining iron ores is how I earned my first 300-500k as a non-member. A little more lengthy but probably biggest profitable way to make money as a non member is woodcutting. The best way is to reach level 60 so that you can chop yew trees which is always a very rewarding income and probably the best money making skill as a non-member and also very effective as a member too. The other good way of making money is fishing, in my opinion fishing is best to prevent yourself from spending money to train, but people are always buying fish mainly lobsters and swordfish for training and PvP combat. These are all very good ways to make cash from level 3-126 as a non-member. If you have any questions or comments on this feel free to contact me or leave a comment at the bottom.
