The Writer's Pilgrimage, from Breasts to Marathons
67My Early Experience with Search Engine Optimization
After publishing my series of articles on breast conditions at suite101.com, I declared in my hub "Benson Yeung's Obsession With Boobs" that I had enough and would like to write about other titles. At the same time, I was still keen to try out the page-ranking situation of suite101.com articles. So I started writing about marathons, another favorite hobby of mine. (You can easily guess what my first hobby is ... writing, of course. What else were you thinking.) After publishing six articles on marathons and becoming their leading contributing writer in this category, I was suprised to see my most recent article (The Amazing Paris Marathon) making google page one under "blog posts about marathons".My other articles also did well with search keywords like "marathons in hong kong", "marathons in Taiwan", "Xiamen international marathon" and "IAAF Gold Label Road Races", landing mostly within the top 10 results. I think the way suite101.com is laid out and the complex interlinking that goes on in there has got a lot to do with it. The SEO rules they require their writers to follow are also helpful. Even more helpful are the editor's suggestions. Google buys it and thinks that these articles are important. I, of course, am still on my learning curve. Nonetheless, so far it's looking good. They have requested that their contributing writers keep the SEO tips to themselves and I am entertaining the request. For those who are interested, you can try signing up with them and you would be given access to these tips. Their revenue sharing model is similar to what we have in here at hubpages.

If you run Marathons in China and some Asian countries, you're likely to see the local runners all wearing the event T shirt. They appear to get into the spirit of the event more than their western counter parts.
i never could have said breasts and marathons in the same breath. seems like you have covered a lot of ground already. here's looking for more mileage from you :D
