I have always believed that vodka consumption should be done with care, especially in high doses! I'm not an ardent fan of this particular liquor unless it's done extremely well. In other words it has to be a drink that knocks my socks off. And I believe I have finally found my new liquid libation of choice at Zola in Washington, DC, a swanky spot with serious ambience next to the International Spy Museum on F Street. With a sexy bar comes and even sassier cocktail list that reflects the establishment's unique flair for the dramatic. My favorite cocktail to praise is The Zola aka The White Knight. The simple solution of Vodka, White Cranberries, Cointreau and fresh lime is heaven, delicious decadence at its best. Served on the rocks or straight up, it is equal parts yummy with a grown up appeal that rivals even the most amazing cosmopolitan. After a bad day one or two of these will simply make all your troubles melt away, at least temporarily.
