The art of joy

Why are folks attracted to my colorful paintings? It's an easy answer. Joy.

We are joy. In looking for a way to express my joy and our joy I use bright colors in my art work. It's not just that our purpose is joy, it is that we are joy. Joy is our business and when we mind our business, we experience more joy. If we are joy then we are also love, freedom and clarity expressing. This is our true selves expressing energy that results in more joy. When I am painting and in ‘that place' that artists refer to as the zone, I am expressing joy. When people view this art, seeing the pure colors of the rainbow, and are lost in it, they are expressing joy.

Becoming lost in the art, music, good book, gorgeous scenery, a natural escape of frolicking out of the conscious space of daily seriousness of forced unnatural business and into out inner subconscious space, en-JOY-ing, and that's who we are at our most natural state, our real business. When experiencing this quiet time of joy we are attracting like magnets and the law of attraction we hear so much of. Positive magnetizing is in full swing when we are in joy. Co-creating an uplifting emotion passed on from the artist to the viewer, which goes out uplifting humanity, one wave at a time. It's not so much the art per say is causing this phenomenon as the reactive positive vibration of joy that the living parties involved in experience. Become aware of this pure energy of joy when you experience it and apply it to the rest of your life and you will experience unlimited benefits and success. When under pressure or negativity is around, stop, be aware of it and reach or switch for that joyous thought or remembrance when you experienced something artful that moved you.

I was recently involved in a remarkable project. A book titled Manifest Success, twenty-eight inspirational stories of personal empowerment, courage and success, compiled by my friend Debbi Chambers. I was touched and deeply honored to be included with this group of highly successful compassionate and loving individuals. What struck me as a common thread through out the entire book of entirely different stories was this simple thing. That common thread is emotion of joy in the discovery of ones success.

By reaching for joy, we bring the alignment with what our higher self, wants, success. When we experience it naturally, whether we know it or not, we are on our path to success, our true purpose. Joy is the emotion that equals success. Joy is success. Our business is joy. It is our nature and our birthright. With that said. Are we minding our business? Or lacking joy, thus spiritually bankrupt and out of business? I hope that you experience joy the next time you see an artwork of any type that moves you and hold that emotional experience for yourself and for others on the planet and uplift the world to a higher happier place.
