Selling online is thought to be the easy fix in an economy that begs for innovative ways of making money with the extensive number of people joining the unemployment roles. The quickest go-to website of course is the big monster of a website clled E-Bay. Ebay, the very colorful webistte has gotten so popular that it may just get added to Webster Dictionary like the Google phenonmenon.

You must sign up a  member and taken digital pictures of goods around your home that you no longer want or need.  You may even make an investiment and purchase a few resale items at flea markets.  Take a digital picture of the item, log onto your ebay account and then begin selling.  There are fees associated with listing as well as for putting a reserve price on your items for sale.  The reserve price is the lowest price you will accept for the listed item.  Follow the prompts and indicate how the buyer should pay for the listed item,  Your shipping charges should be the cost that you need to pay in order to ship the sold item to the buyer.  Be careful using the calculated rates, as ebayers have become smarter and disregard the actual shipping.  Instead it seems as though the shipping cost sometimes is the wholesale cost of the item.  That statement is pure speculation so follow the weight scale if you like and you will get accustomed to selling on line on ebay.  There are all kinds of good tabls added to ebay such as messages, messages from other ebay and you can now leave comments in the order part of your ebay file that is just readable by you.  Be a good ebayer and ship prompty.

Amazon started out as a website that was a good reference for getting college schoolbooks at a discount price.  This website has grown in popularity and now hosts a library of used and new books as well as some of the same merchandise found on eBay.  You can actually bid at Amazon for the best price of items that are up for bid.  However, the activity is not as brisk and not as colorful as ebay and you may find yourself lonesome.  The great thing about Amazon is that you can put the ISSN of the book, the name of the book, or the author and voila!  A picture of the book or music video shows up on the screen without having to take a digital picure of the book or recording.  Amazon does take a slice out of your earnings with their commission which is not much but when you consider that you got to pay to ship the item, your profit may not be as much.

A confusing website where you offer a price for a digital pictured items and the buyers says whether or not he will buy the item.  If not, the two of you negotiate for the best price.  The commodities are not as varied as ebay and unless you have a lot of insignificant items to sell, I would stay away for the i Offer .com websitee.

                                         OverStock.com

Overstock .com is of the same general makeup as ebay except the liveliness of the site is not there.  The color theme of the website is red but even that color does not give life to the OverStock.com.  You may come on that site wondering where is everyone.  Also the site does not update records efficiently so if you want to figure out the price of a ring you purchase 10 years ago for an example, Overstock will have your day.  Most of the shipping costs seem to be set at $9.99.  I think that everyone wants to cut to the chase and to get their profit and let the customer pay for the shipping at the same time.  eBay shines in comparison.
