Great plus sized women's clothing

Finding great plus- size clothing can be a bit of a challenge. Alot of plus size clothing is not cut to take into consideration the differences between a size 2 and a size 22 so many companies just take their pattern and make it bigger which doesn't work at all. Below is a short list of some of my favorite places to shop that usually have things that work well for me.

Talbots- only some of their stores have women's sizes

Lane Bryant- very stylish and usually extremely well made

Fashion Bug- more affordable that Lane Bryant but usually has the most unique finds

Dress Barn- they are great for work clothes but again only some of their stores have women's sizes

JC Penney- I have great sucess with their knit items however their button downs are usually sized incorrectly for me but if your bust isn't too large you shouldn't have a problem

Dillards- They have great stuff at some of their larger stores, especally those that carry higher end designers

Macy's- they usually have great selection and I can almost always find something there especally in their larger stores

Old Navy- their online store goes up to size 30 and they usually have youthful and cute clothing.

Catherine's- This store tends to cater to a more mature audience (think 40+) however their size selection is larger than most and if you choose carefully you can come away with some great outfits

The Avenue- in general I am not a big fan however occasionally I find stunning items there

Torrid- this is definately your edgy extremely trendy scene clothing. I LOVE their stuff but it is not for the faint of heart.

Good luck to you and happy shopping!!
