chilli chocolate ice cream
This is so easy anyone could make it.
Buy the richest, and I mean richest, darkest Chocolate Icecream that you can find, around a 2 litre of it.
Leave out to slighly soften, do not use a microwave, as the resulting product will have ice particles through it, ruining the texture.
In a very large Bowl, Melt a 100gm. pack of Dark chocolate Couvetres (You might prefer to use one of the Cocoa Choclate blocks that can be purchased now, often they are up to 70% Cocoa,.)
Place the melts with a little cream and I add 1/2 a teaspoon of chilli powder. (You may prefer less, depending on your tolerance to hot food. ) in the microwave and soften until melts, whip into the cream, whip to make a thick chocolate sauce. Fold through the Ice-cream. it doesn't matter if you combine totally as it is nice with the odd chunk of Chocolate in it.
Place into a larger container, than the original Icecream pack as the mixture is now greater.
Put in freezer to re harden.
I serve on a plate with a small amount of sweet chilli sauce and a Dollop of Creme Fraice`. Top with a Stevia or Mint Leaf
The taste is very chocolatey with a good kick to it. Delicimo!!!!!!!!
