The perfect gift idea for your wife for her birthday.

Birthdays come once a year and let's just say that sometimes we're thankful that they do. It's always nice to give someone special a nice present but finding that perfect present is always a huge challenge.

Instead of listing specific ideas for your wife or significant other I've listed ways to help you track down the best gift. I realize that this is really defeats the purpose of finding the perfect gift idea. However, as we all know we're totally different people. What I would get my wife could be (and probably is) WAYyyyyy different then what you'd get your wife. Did your wife only want a hockey jersey for her birthday?

1. First (this is the easiest one). Pay attention to any and all of her hints. Usually she'll give off clues that could tip you in a direction or another. Say you're going out for dinner one night and she says, "I can never find a necklace to match this dress". Then maybe you should think about a necklace.
2. Second. Ask her friends if she's mentioned anything. Quite often she'll diclose more information to her friends then she will to you. So ask a close friend of hers if she's hinted at anything lately.
3. Third. Pay attention to things where she doesn't hint. What this means is watching, listening and observing her moves. Find out what drives her, what annoys her or what pleases her. Then find something to fit into that category.

Really when it comes down to it you want a gift that has these three main ingriediens:
