THE POWER OF ONIONS TO CREATE ELECTRICAL ENERGY USING specialized FUEL CELL technology just for this purpose using onions

350 million pounds of onion waste fermented can be used as a source of fuel for energy

The U.S. largest producer of onions "Gills onions" a California onion grower has been perfecting it's onion growing operation by using waste from their oinion growing operation to save money on it's electric power use as well as saving money by not spending money to haul it away or spreading the waste material on it's fields.Gills onions has learning how to do this over a ten year period,as well as being given 2.7 million dollar grant from a local energy company,with the help of the county and Southern California gas.

Surphur gas has to be extracted from the onion,juice for, the fuel cell process to work The process takes place at a temperature of 1,000 degrees farhrenheit.using molten carbonate to convert the released methane gas into electricity.

This green technology saves them money by creating energy while reducing waste both in the air as well as of the soil.They may even make money on the deal in a few years.They haven't gone into full production of producing energy as yet.They plan to store the energy they produce during evening hours with the addition of batteries,so they can keep their oinion powered electrical energy 24 hours a day without interrupting the fermentation process each day as their energy use is mostly during the day.

If,this power generation process had not been available to them they may have had to move away from the local area where their operations curently exist to save them the cost of hauling away all the waste they produce each day.Now they are even thinking of getting into the business of providing their knowledge to other businesses thinking of doing the same thing.

I can't but help make light of the idea of using onions as a source of fuel.

It 's a gas,It's a pealing,it's smells of money,it appeals to me so much ,I think I'm going to cry!
