The powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon card
64
If you have watched the cartoon or played the actual Yugioh trading card game, then you already know about the very powerful Yugioh Blue Eyes White Dragon card. Even though this card does not have any special abilities, the blue eyes does give a player one of the highest starting attack powers available in the entire game. Does it then makes sense why Kaiba sought these cards?
This card became a trademark of Seto Kaiba, as it was his primary monster in duels against others. Since it was his strongest card. He was known for playing it very often, and using it to win duels. in the anime, there were only for blue eyes created since they were considered too strong for game play. After struggling to get three of the four cards, Kaiba had the fourth one destroyed. His reasoning for the destruction of the fourth card was to ensure that no player would be able to play it against him, and because any player can have a maximum of three of a given card in their deck. He was then able to control three of the best cards available in the game. And it would not be long before Kaiba created a three headed blue eyes by combining all three together.
In the real Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game this card doesn't have as high a power as it was given in the cartoon. But with modifiers or special ability cards. Many players are still able to overcome the blue eyes White Dragon, assuming it were played by their opponent. This in no way means you should avoid collecting or owning this card. If you were to do so, that would be unwise.
The real Yugioh trading cards game demonstrates that this card is often very close to, if not stronger than it was shown to be in a cartoon. Playing this card like a basic monster shows that it can still be very strong. This card can give opportunities to destroy your opponents monsters, one after another. Then throw in special ability cards or a few modifiers and your monster becomes overpowering.
If you want a few monster cards filled in your deck or if you're just starting out, you would have a tough time going wrong by putting a couple of these into your deck.
