The strangest thing that ever happened to me

- WHAT IS THE STRANGEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU? Here is my story...... The year was 1992 on a Hot Summer day,I was on my way home and I happened to pass this man up walking on the side of the Road wearing very old and torn clothes.I passed him up and looked back in my rearview mirror and felt Sorry for this man.I decided that I needed to go back and ask if he needed a ride or anything and he turned to me and said "No young lady...I dont need anything but I appreciate it very much.He said you know what? I've been traveling these roads for years and been everywhere.I enjoy doing this it is all I know to do.You are a sweet lady offering me a ride.This man I swear looked like Santa Claus with his White hair.....and shaped just like the man.I looked down at his feet and seen his shoes and I thought to myself if he walks everywhere he goes those shoes are not going to last him.These shoes were torn and barely had soles left.I begged him to let me take him to the Motel that was 1 mile down the road so he could get a shower and something to eat in the restaurant.He finally agreed,so I went in and paid for his room and sat down with him for Lunch and watched him eat like he never had food before.I told him that I would really like to buy him some shoes and some clothes for his next travel where ever he was going and that It would only take me 15 minutes to give him the stuff.He just sat there and Smiled at me the whole time and telling me how sweet I was and that someday I would get my Reward.During that conversation I paid no mind to those words.Soon we finished eating and I told him I would be back with his stuff and he could go ahead and get cleaned up.He agreed and shook his head at me and smiled.I was gone 15 minutes returned back to the Motel to give the man his New clothes and shoes and knocked on his door only to find the Door was wide open and he was not there.I ran into the restaurant and asked the waitress where that man went and No one knew.I ran inside the Motel and asked if that man checked out and they told me no.I thought this was strange so I got in my truck and went down the road about 4 miles and still could not find this Man at all.I never to this day seen that man again passing through my town.Who that man was I will never know and probably will never ever see him again.It is very strange to me what happened that day and those words "Rewarded" he said. One thing for sure I know that I have been Rewarded and Have been Blessed,I will never forget that man.....and that word he said with a big Smile.
