Let's give You a Start

There are certain steps that you need to follow in order to complete your book not worrying about its detailed contents, Characters etc... HOw...

Following these Simple Steps that will guide you from time to time... you can Achive Your goal of completing your book...

1) Step 1- is the Story ready in your mind?

Now this is a very very important question, If it is ready in your mind then no problem.... You know what you are going to write, how it is going to be... etc...

Now if the Story is not Ready... you have thought of only half of it... then What would help you is a summary of your story... For example... you haven't thought of the end... so write the Summary.. for what ever end you think is appropriate... you can always change it later on...

So if you have a ready story in your head--- go ahead write the FIRST DRAFT... now PLEASE don't do this in ONE DAY... not possible... not probably and not GOOD... At least 3 weeks to 4 weeks provided you have an organised plan to take it forward... (don't worry i am going to create a hub for time management also, specially for writers). Don't try to make it a Perfect Draft... ITs is never a perfect draft... it can't be...

Step 2 - Calculating that you take about a month to create a Novel or a story... then what do you do...Keep the First Draft aside and then make a list of all the Characters you have...

Once done this... each day work on one... write as much as you can about the character, where he was born what he did, how he did it, etc...

You may take TEN days for it... don't worry...

Step 3 Expand descriptions- Decribe everything important in the story, Like the hero's car, house, the roads, the surrounds... if it is a ship related novel or book... about the ship, its life... I think you got if...if you don't tell me.

Step 4 Serogate the scene...

Whatever you feel is important and know is important has to be written in a seperate sheet... now i know.. this tough but you can do it... You have to do it... if you want to write a good book.
