The Art Of WayneTully
68A fascination with art
I don't know or really remember how I got started drawing fantasy type stuff such as demons and horror genre art, but I just did along the way, maybe it was all the films I watched as a child, or the obssessive interest in games workshop miniature painting, whatever the case, I'm glad that I have something to take up my time in all the hours in the day.
I remember seeing as a child paintings in books and magazines of some of the scenes from the lord of the rings book, and to me I was secretly wishing I'd painted them pictures and would set out on a mission to learn how to paint like these professional artists did.
I sadly did not have the time back then, as a learning disability prevented me from understanding text properly, I don't think I was dislexic in the sense of every single letter or word was backwards and made no sense, because I could read and understand, but when it came to reading instructions or something that really needed to be understood, I'd have serious difficulties.
So from that moment on I decided to just draw and practice and then write lists of anything and sentences combining them with my drawings and so on, until after a few years I'd completely passed this partial dislexic phase and I was able to understand things written in books far better than I used to.
Nearly 2 years passed and I bought a computer for the internet potential of exposing my work and gaining an insight into the mystery of the web, and I soon found this was to be another obstacle to overcome as it frustrated me even further as there was this huge network of links to anything you could search for, but I stuck with it just like you have to in this life, adapt to changes, learn new stuff.
A further 2 years on and now I'm getting somewhere at least, I can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and it is my future.

Yes I have and do quite often, I draw loads of stuff each day, so putting some arranged on an A3 sized sheet would make my designs stand out and probably sell more.
On Ebay and other places??! Hmmm!? best get to work!
I just peaked around through your links. I must admit, the Demonic Vapour Head on the teddy bear's t-shirt made me giggle.
Any photos of the tattoos done of your artwork?
You've got some seriously brilliant and creepy stuff there, Wayne! You have a fan.
Thanks!
At present there are no photo's of my tatooed artwork, I just sell the designs at this point, but I'm working on a tattoo hub and maybe a website!
