There are hundreds of thousands of people that join a network marketing company on a yearly basis. The main problem is that they ususally do not provide the new distributor with a way to generate targeted leads on the Internet that actually works.

The marketplace has changed drastically since the days of home & hotel meetings. The days of these "pomp & circumstance" meetings, passing out flyers & posters, and cold-calling opportunity seeker leads has come to an end, and you must find another way to get targeted traffic to your website has come to an end. You must find new ways to get people to look at what you have to offer to them.

When telling somebody about your business, you really shouldn't lead off with the business, just tell them what you have to offer them if they join your team.

Never try to sell them with "technobabble" (flashy words that sound like "time-released scientifically-proven nutra-ceuticals"). More times than not, these will turn off the prospect ... and you will see them run from you in the opposite direction as fast as their legs will take them.

Big words only attempt to baffle the prospect ... and people don't like to be "BS'ed".
