Calphalon Pan

No Flash In The Pan

The Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan is a 12-inch wonder that is sure to become the hardest working pan you ever had in your kitchen. It is beyond versatile, as you can make just about everything in it, ranging from stovetop vegetables, pancakes and braised brisket to cooking fruit, tarts, or even “tarty” neighbors and relatives that don’t know their place.

You cannot use the dishwasher for cleaning the Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan, but that’s a small price to pay in exchange for the super job it does. If you should make the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher, the surface of the Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan will be damaged. This may lead to pits and discolorations and void the lifetime warranty of the pan (that is, unless you die sooner than expected). The Calphalon is not a non-stick pan either and must be treated as such. (If non-stick is what you want, the one made by Calphalon is the best there is on the market today.)

The heavy gauge aluminum Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan is uniformly thick across the bottom and sides, which allows for quick and even heat distribution. The durable finish is stick and scratch resistant and will not react with acidic foods. The stainless steel handles are comfortable to grip and minimize heat transfer, which means they are always cool on the stovetop. The dome-shaped lid of the Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan is ideal for moist-heat cooking.

To clean the Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized Everyday Pan, use a Dobie pad or its equivalent. Do not ever use Brillo on the surface of this pan. Bon Ami will work well with the tougher stuff.
