The Platinum Verve's unique design features an invisible mechanism with a spring loaded clip that retracts until it is fully joined with the body of the pen, contributing to the, seamless flowing profile of the Verve design. The clip of the pen rests in an ellipse of tinted resin. The seamless 360-degree rhodium plated stainless steel nib enhances the beauty of the continuous aerodynamic form of Verve.

The Verve Radial Chrome has a sequence of finely etched concentric engravings that imparts a bright chrome finish to this beautiful design. This model is complemented with Rhodium plated appointments. The Verve Selenium Blue has a unique blue hue that is the result of a specialized, ionic plating process. The silky-soft metal texture is created by bombarding the nickel silver base continuously with glass beads. Pure rhodium plated appointments impart a contrast. The unique wide diameter barrel of the Cross Verve Shimmer incorporated with a seamless spring loaded clip sets off its charcoal tinted elliptical form. The glossy PVD surface provides a non-slip grip while resisting fingerprints. Detailed with rhodium plated appointments this ball-point pen, with matte bronze hue is a rare beauty. It includes 1 black ball point refill (8513) in the pen. Ball point, roller ball and fountain pens are available in this model. The Cross Verve is also available in Platinum and Merlot finish.

Pure platinum is electrically plated onto the cap and barrel of the Verve Platinum, with a uniform thickness of 2 microns. The fine texture is created by randomly brushing the base metal until both the cap and barrel obtain a satin wash finish .This model comes with similar platinum plated appointments and a 360-degree, two-tone 18 karat gold nib.

The saturated merlot hue of the Verve Merlot is the outcome of a specialized, ionic plating process called physical vapor deposition. The recurring diamond wave pattern encapsulates both the cap and the barrel in a beautiful web. Pure 18kt white gold appointments complement the Merlot hue. All Verve fountain pens fill ink via cartridges or converters available in fine, medium and broad nib sizes. The Cross Verve roller-ball pen has the Cross unique Selectip interchangeable writing technology, which allows the writer the choice of a silken gel ink roller ball, strong ballpoint pen, soft felt-tip, or even a bright document marker. The ballpoint pen comes with twist-action advance mechanism.
