The best book on 1929 Stock Market Crash

Written by Gordon Thomas and Max Morgan Witt, this is one of the best book ever written on 1929 Stock Market Crash.

Unlike historian books which would use classical archives, the two authors have researched untapped sources like private papers and interviews with survivors of the event.

The book, of more than 450 pages, reads like an entertaining novel except it is a true documentary book. Unfortunately it was published more than 20 years ago already in 1982 and there's no re-edition at the moment. I have myself had to buy a second-hand book on Amazon see here.

I agree--I loved this book! Even down to what cocktail the exchange served all its broker when it celebrated New Years 1929!
