The Girls of Baywatch - Vids and Pics

This is a continuation of the 'Baywatch Babes' site and, like that site, contains pictures and video clips of the sexy babes in tight bathing costumes who we all remember so fondly from the great Baywatch TV series.

Baywatch was originally conceived in 1980 when veteran Los Angeles County lifeguard Greg Bonnan had an idea for a TV show containing "sand, surf and sea rescues".

He didn't know at the time what format the show should take. "First it was Baywatch: the mini-series, then it was Baywatch: the half-hour sitcom, then it was Baywatch: the Saturday morning cartoon show.", he remembers.

It became one of the first network TV shows that featured frequent close-up shots of large female breasts.

Many large breasted actresses appeared in the show during its long run and some, notably Pamela Anderson, became very famous indeed. As well as Pamela the show brought fame and riches to Yasmine Bleeth, Alexandra Paul, Carmen Electra, Traci Bingham, Donna D'Errico, Nicole Eggert, and Gena Lee Nolin.

Baywatch was most notable-some might say 'notorious'-for most of its female cast members dropping their lifeguard swimsuits for Playboy. Most of the female stars appeared in Playboy at the height of their fame on Baywatch, while Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra had already appeared before joining the show. Yasmine Bleeth, who played lifeguard Caroline Holden, was at least one Baywatch actress who was offered $750,000.00 in 1998 to pose nude, but refused, vowing that she never would.
