“Sure, the lion is king of the jungle but airdrop him into Antarctica & he's just a penguin's bitch” - Dennis Miller

The Lion Park is situated in South Africa’s Gauteng Province near Lanseria Airport, Fourways in Johannesburg and Pretoria. This park is home to almost 80 lions and white lions.

The Lion Park offers amazing close-up views of lions - as well as rare white lions. Other large predators at the Lion Park include cheetahs, brown and spotted hyenas, wild dogs and jackals.

What to do at the Lion Park:

Self-Drive through the Main Park

Take a self-drive through the main park on an easy to follow route that will take you through the antelope area where you will see various antelope species, then past the hyena and cheetah enclosures and finally into the four camps that house the lion prides.

Guided Game Drive

The guided game drive is a wonderful opportunity to see and learn more about the indigenous African wildlife. The game drives are done by a trained guide with a safari vehicle. The guided tour will take you past carnivores and various antelope species.

Cub World and Cub Interaction
