The Omega Seamaster Bullhead

Omega watches have been around in the watch industry for over 150 years. The name Omega purely signifies top quality. Ever since its inception, Omega has offered some of the best watches. Omega watches have truly carved a name for itself from the outer space to the depths of the ocean.

Over the years, Omega has presented some of the most creative watches. Each and every series from the house of Omega caters to a specific function. The Seamaster Drivers is one such series from the house of Omega. Released in 1969, this Omega gents' wrist watch chronograph was also known as the Omega Seamaster Bullhead Chronograph, or the Mickey Mouse. This watch model is one of the rarest in the Omega Collection.

The 1969 Omega Seamaster Drivers were also referred to as Bullhead Chronographs because of the peculiar design of the watch case. These watches had the crown and pushers on top of the watch case, instead of the normal side alignment. The case of the watch was wider towards the top and narrower towards the bottom part. The odd positioning of the crown and pushers on the top of the case, and the overall case design gave the watch a bullhead resemblance.

The peculiar case design adopted allowed the watch makers to go for odd shaped dials. With its rarity in design, the Omega Seamaster Bullhead became one of the most sought after watch models in the 60s and 70s.

The 1969 Omega Seamaster Bullhead also featured Chronomatic movement. Mostly all the Omega Seamaster Bullhead series of watches featured very vibrant and attractive dials. The watch series mostly featured white luminous hands. The Omega Seamaster Bullhead also included the date aperture at the 3 O' clock position, and 30-Minute Register. The Omega Crown with Omega logo and Chrono Pushers are placed above the 12 O' clock position.

The Inner Bezel with Minute Graduation, which is adjustable with the extra crown, is placed at 6 O' clock position. Most of the Omega Seamaster Bullhead came in Stainless Steel case with a diameter of 45 mm. The back case houses 17 gold-plated Jewels, and comes with a leather bracelet.

A very rare beauty from the house of Omega, this watch is really an impressive timepiece.
