The Original Twelve Starships from Star Trek

So how many ships besides Enterprise can you name from the original Star Trek Series? These were all Constitution Class cruisers, ships that were ostensibly identical in design to the Enterprise.

1. The Starship Exeter, NCC-1672, under the command of Captain Tracey, appeared in the episode "The Omega Glory."

2. The Starship Constellation, NCC-1017, commanded by Commodore Matt Decker, was destroyed in the episode "The Doomsday Machine."

3. The Defiant, NCC-1764, was lost to interspace in the episode "The Tholian Web."

4. The Starship Intrepid, NCC-1831, with an all Vulcan crew, was destroyed in the episode "The Immunity Syndrome."

5. The starships Lexington, Excalibur, Potemkin and Hood were part of a task force that fought against an M-5 equipped Enterprise in the episode "The Perfect Computer." The Excalibur was destroyed during this battle.

6. The Starships Farragut and Republic were both mentioned in the original series as ships that Captain Kirk had served aboard earlier in his career.

7. The Starships Constitution and Yorktown never appeared in an original series episode.
