The Patek Philippe 4936 Ladies' Complicated
67For the Woman of Substance: The Patek Philippe 4936 Ladies' Complicated
It's a woman's world and Patek Philippe knows what is best for the sophisticated modern woman! Elegance, refinement, and mystic grandeur - these words best define the Patek Philippe 4936 Ladies' Complicated, the first really ‘complicated' Patek Philippe wristwatch for ladies.
The Patek Philippe 4936 Ladies' Complicated watch is available in either white gold or yellow gold and integrates the acclaimed Annual Calendar movement. This unique movement supports the automatic adjustment of the date in the short months.
The company forayed into producing complicated women's watches in the late 1990s with a grand ladies' version of its Travel Time watch. Two years ago, Patek Philippe introduced a mechanical moon phase designed especially for women. Today, the company has given a feminine touch to its patented annual calendar mechanism, a common and oft-used complication that's popular among men. The Patek Philippe's exclusive ladies' Annual Calendar is an astounding combination of technical mastery, precision, sleekness, and feminine appeal.
Launched in 1996, the watch incorporates the same 37 mm case and base movement as the men's 5035, but also integrates grand symbols of extravagance - a mother-of-pearl dial and a diamond-set crown and bezel.
The Annual Calendar for ladies is also now available in a rose gold version with a sensuously curved silhouette. The watch features a 37 mm case, the same as the Annual Calendar introduced in 1996. Other incredible features of the watch include self-winding, sweep second hand and water resistance of up to 25 m.
Available in 18K yellow or white gold, the bezel is encrusted with 156 pure rare white top Wesselton diamonds. The dials are beautifully crafted from authentic mother-of-pearl; white for the yellow gold case and the extremely rare black Tahitian mother-of-pearl for the white gold model. Time is shown with applied gold Roman numerals and bright, gold feuille or leaf-shaped hands. The phases of the moon are indicated in a crescent window located above the date aperture at 6 o'clock. The crown sparkles with 14 exquisite diamonds, smoothly crafted and finished so as to make it perfectly comfortable against the wrist. The excellently hand-stitched alligator strap closes with an 18K gold buckle in two tones; matte champagne for yellow gold and bright gray with white gold. The watch, with its complications such as self-winding movement and the sapphire-crystal case marked with the reputed Geneva Seal offers a real treat for watch enthusiasts!
