The Rats are Leaving Bush's Sinking Ship
58Rats Leave Bush's Sinking Ship
Several of the early neocon advocates of Bush's needless, ill-advised, reckless and foolish invasion of Iraq, such as Ken Adelman and Richard Perle are leaving Bush's sinking ship. Adelman was an ardent supporter of the invasion and authored an op-ed in the NY Times entitled "A Cakewalk in Iraq." With the "cakewalk looking more like a death march, Adelman's been blaming Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld for poor execution in Iraq rather than acknowledging they were wrong in advocating the invasion in the first place. Actually, in a November Vanity Fair article, Adelman did express his regret for advocating military action, not necessarily because he was wrong on military action but because he overestimated the leadership abilities of the Bush administration.

Your very informal Thanks learn a lot from you.
In my humble opinion, wrong is wrong no matter what justification it comes tagged with. The invasion was wrong period. What would be refreshing, though, is to have the truth told instead of the ever changing diet of "reasons we are in Iraq" currently being served.
I agree. Thanks for the comment.
