A Tribute to the Women of Hubpages

So far the names that spring to mind are the first lady of Hubpages Robin http://hubpages.com/profile/Robin,

the ever unpronouncable & brilliant Iðunn, http://hubpages.com/profile/I%C3%B0unn

the effervescent Night Flower

http://hubpages.com/profile/NightFlower

She hasn't written many hubs yet. I hope to see more soon from Smoovstella:

Snowflake: http://hubpages.com/profile/Snow+Flake

Beatlebabe: http://hubpages.com/profile/beatlebabe

A new addition: Madame Sosostis. http://hubpages.com/profile/Madame+Sosostris

At Madame's request: http://hubpages.com/profile/freecreative1

Welcome to hubpages Len: http://hubpages.com/profile/len7288

A woman after my own heart: http://hubpages.com/profile/connie+lane

Read her Hubs today and transform your life.

and myself of course.

Throughout history women writers have had a rough go of it, often not being taken seriously by the predominantly male publishing industry. So I made this little tribute page.

If I missed you or another writer you think should be added, drop me a line. I'm sure our family will grow.

we have other wonderful hubpages women, shuvani, poetic muse and livelonger (sorry if I have the gender wrong!) come to mind immediately and of course to me, although y'all would be less familiar with them are my buddies who arrived at my invite - beatlebabe, snow flake, and katalina.

women are a marvelous gender indeed. wonderful hub!

well, I guess that knocks you off the list of hub women then.

sorry for the mistake. : )

you should make the men's list of great hubz, then - they are always interesting.

In the words of Mao Tse-Tung;-

"..we have drawn a clear line of demarcation between the enemy and ourselves.."

err thanks MoonMaiden, I guess that's a compliment. I am sometimes at a loss interpreting language here in the US since it continues to diverge from English or more accurately Irish English. I sometimes feel I've been away for a while. :-)

See Drax at number 5! But I do like your glass pen -- is it a genuine antique or a replica? I'm a bit of fountain or quill pen fan. Must do a Hub about it sometime.

Hi Stuart,
It was a gift. My daughter bought it in Italy on her student trip last summer. It's a dip pen.

O, what a very heartfelt and lovely tribute! Thank you, Moonmaiden, for including me amongst so many stellar talents and big hearts. I am thrilled to have found you all here, and look forward with much enthusiasm to the days to come. I have one Dear Woman to add whom we must not forget, as she has been a blessed friend to me and all who know her elsewhere on the web, and she simply shimmers with writing talent: "Manifest Essence." Hail to all ye wondrous women writers!

Yours in Ever-Abundant Exuberance,

Madame S.
