This product can only be used on up to two computers, but with a price of $40 and a renewal fee of $40, this product is a very good buy.

•4. Smith Micro Allume SpamCatcher 4.0 Coming in at number four on our list Smith Micro's product is still one of the best antispam software programs available today. Combining above average spam detection with average user friendliness and it will hardly ever flag your bosses' important e-mail as spam. With the best features package that includes everything included with the other products on this list, plus the ability to learn from previously received e-mail, this product comes with all the available bells and whistles for an antispam program. The one draw back with this product is it can only be used with a single computer, but other than that this is an excellent product. Price $30 with a $10 renewal fee.

•5. SPAMfighter Standard 5.3.7 This free antispam program ranks just below the top four products on this list in detecting of spam, but is one of the easiest to install and use on a single computer, this product can only be used on a single computer. A little light on features, but then it is free; this product only has the ability to integrate with your computers e-mailer and to compare suspected e-mail against a known online database of spam messages. There is no renewal fee with this product, but then there was no cost, so this is hardly surprising.
