The best men's sunglasses (Maui Jim's, Ray-Ban, etc) that look good, are functional, and won't go out of style?
72Mens' Sunglasses One Guy's Opinion
Sunglasses are yet another accessory that enables people to show off their own unique sense of style. (Unfortunately when it comes to sunglasses, most people become sheep and follow the herd - "Oh big glasses are in that make me look like a bug? That's what I need too!") Although the really big sunglasses are "in" right now (Thanks to celebs) you must realize that if you're an average Joe wearing the latest trend you really just look like a wanna-be. No one thinks your Diddy or even Jack Nicholson if you wear your glasses into the bank and throughout your transaction, trust me on this one.
I would suggest that men, women, children (and sheep) instead of following trends, find the glasses that look good on them as well as express their sense of style. The way to do this is to look to classic brands such as Ray-Ban and try the different shapes and sizes on to determine what is right for your face. If you go to a kiosk in a mall you're only going to get what's "hot" or "now" and the shapes will be limited, go somewhere that they have a good selection of sunglasses both classic and trendy.
Size matters. Find the size of sunglasses that fit your face - large enough to do the job it's meant to do but not so large that you look as if you've just finished doing some nuclear testing.
Finally, if pressed to give the one shape that almost every man can wear and is a classic? It's the aviator shaped sunglasses. These come in a variety of sizes and it's more a question of the size that's right for you not the shape. Again (and not to be an ad for them) Ray-Ban features many different variations of shapes and sizes of this style of sunglass. And hey, if it's good enough for Top Gun it's good enough for you!

Yes and away we go...thanks for the well-written comment.
I LOVE aviator sunglasses. Every man should own a pair!
Both of those looks will never die, but the do go through phases. However, I think the aviator go out of style less frequently.

I might go with the aviators, although, for some reason I call them bombers. Not sure where I picked that up.
