Asking out girls rollerblading and... in the woods.

How to ask out a stripper

Get creative!

I can't lie: I am a silly girl. I like fun, nerdiness, and the unexpected. Thus the things that get me in a good way are often strange and unconventional.

Creativity is very important at the start of a relationship, I feel. Location in particular is also key in getting things rolling. Where you are can mean a lot, and at what time as well.

Here are some great places to ask a silly girl out... based on my experiences.

1) Someplace crowded

It's almost romantic to be in, say a restaurant (or even a really cheesy Chinese restaurant with waiters running all over the place and greasy food) and to feel like the only people inside. Minus the terrible music or whatever. Being serious in a place like this shows that you're fun!

2) Someplace random

Sometimes the spontaneity of a place can contrast with the depth of your feelings. It's pretty nifty to go to plan on going one place and end up getting distracted by someplace else that looks even better. And it looks good when you're flexible and bold enough to try something different or off the beaten path. Like a wax museum or theme store.

3) Someplace natural

My second boyfriend asked me out on a dock at a lake... upon which we were trespassing. But the lake was nice and it was fun trying to dodge the owners. It's great to get down and dirty with nature... seems to me like you're carefree and you know how to have fun with simplicity. And without money.

4) Someplace daring

Skydiving! (Which is one of my favourite things to do.) Reveal your crazy side with an unbelievable tactic.

5) Someplace with an inside joke attached

Remember that one place where you tripped and ripped your skirt, or where you laughed too loud and made everyone look, or where you saw that guy with the really bad clothing ensemble? Why not ask her out there? Bring back some good memories.

Don't forget your dorky gift!
